It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially now that our stock is already filling up with various cut greens like Nobilis, Nordmann, Kiefer, Cypress, wreaths, tree limbs and much more. The next few months are all about Christmas greens. That's why we like to tell you this blog more about the most famous of all: The beautiful Nobilis.

GENERAL INFORMATION

One of the most popular Christmas greenery varieties is Nobilis. The cut green is used for Christmas arrangements, wreaths, bouquets and other decorations, among other things. Nobilis can be recognized by its soft, blue-green needles that carry a wonderful fragrance. The scent totally reminds us of Christmas!

BEHIND THE SCENES

We get the Nobilis from our supplier in Denmark. Here the green branches grow high on the trees. The trees can be up to 30 / 35 years old and as tall as 25 meters. These trees are part of a broader program and eventually go into the timber industry.

Nobilis is also cut from lower trees. This green is generally a bit softer than the green cut high. But the higher the green is cut, the less damage the branches have.

With an aerial platform, our supplier goes into the trees. He cuts the branches to different lengths. The branches are sorted and then packed into 5kg bundles. Then the bundles are packed on pallets. Ready to come to us.
