This month we spotlight our Australian supplier Premium Greens.

From Australia, we import products such as Koala fern, Flexigrass, Speargrass and Umbrella fern.

Through the mail, we spoke with Harold, the Sales Manager of Premium Greens. He gave us more information about the company, its operations and its connection with the WBE group.

1. Can you tell us more about the company?

Premium Greens Australia is Australia's largest producer of the, wild growing, native cut greens. Our products range from Koala fern, Goanna claw, Emu feather etc. to the more familiar products such as Umbrella fern and Stealgrass.

2. What does the company stand for?

Premium Greens Australia stands for durability, quality and exclusivity. Our cut greens enable florists to stand out from the crowd.

3. How long has Premium Greens been supplying the WBE Group?

Ever since Peter Baak was young and handsome! About 20 years.

Sales Manager

7. What does your day look like?

Like your days but 8 hours ahead. Lots of paperwork and firefighting. Selling, buying, organizing freight, setting up paperwork, etc.

8. Do you have any tips/tricks for your product?

Always keep our product between 2 and 8 degrees. Keep our products in the sleeve and box as long as possible to prevent dehydration. This ensures the longest shelf life. Many people are used to removing products from the box and putting them in water as soon as possible after the boxes arrive at their warehouse, but our product actually lasts longer in the sleeve and box.
