Elegant flowers with three pendant and three upright petals make the Iris one of the most striking spring flowers. A beautiful flower to behold, which is why the beauty is in the spotlight throughout March.
Our arranger Tanja van Bijlevelt(@natuurlijkgemaakt) went to work for us again. Again this month Tanja shows us how our beautiful greenery can be combined with the Iris to create a beautiful bouquet or arrangement. Read on quickly.
More and more we are seeing this beautiful green, but it can be used much more often: Australian products. We have a large assortment of Australian products. In which some are even more beautiful than others. Australian greenery gives a luxurious look. For the arrangements with the cheerful Iris, Tanja chose a combination with the beautiful Koala and Emu feather. Both beautiful products to use!
The Koala fern can be recognized by its bright green color. The green is a good filler to the bouquet or arrangement. This is because the green has a lot of volume.
Emu feather has a long stem on which the leaves grow airily. Because the leaf goes in different directions, the green has a playful effect.
To get as much out of the greenery as possible, Tanja used everything. The wreath shows how the soft Koala green was used. The twigs, from which the green has been removed, she has used again in the arrangements with Sage branches. This way you use the green optimally.
Make your own arrangement with the Iris. Watch the do-it-yourself video here.
Aspidistra is a beautiful, sturdy leaf. Despite the firmness of the leaves, the foliage is well bendable. This is why the leaf is often used curved in floral arrangements. Ideal for use as the edge of a bouquet.
Tanja did not choose the "normal" green leaves this month, but the variegated variety. With its light stripes, the green gives us an immediate sense of spring. Combined with the blue color of the Iris and the bright Australian green, the variegated leaves are a feast to behold!
Cherry Blossoms or Sage Branches. We can't stop talking about them. Even this month we still like to make use of the cheerful branches. Tanja cut the birch branches the same length as the Iris flowers. Combined with the cheerful Emu feather, it is a cheerful whole to see. Let spring begin!
The thin, fresh green leaves of Typha are a popular product. The leaf is flexible. We often see the leaf used to make loops or weave and braid. A lot is possible with the green. Tanja shows this well in the arrangement.
