WILD OR JUST CLASSIC, YOU CAN GO EITHER WAY WITH THE FREESIA!

Although it is still a while away, we want to prepare you for the next month. Indeed, during the month of February, a versatile flower is on the agenda.

The Freesia is a beautiful flower with an unusual inflorescence. The flower's buds grow neatly in a row. This is also called a comb. The Freesia is available in different colors. What makes the flower even nicer is that many varieties have a wonderful sweet fragrance. Besides all the beauty, the Freesia symbolizes unconditional love. Beautiful and meaningful!

Give the flower an extra boost by combining it with the right greenery. Of course, we will be happy to tell you more about this. To inspire you even more, Tanja van Bijlevelt has created a number of examples with the Freesias and our greenery.

WILD BOOKET.

For example, with Ruscus. The narrow Italian leaves combine beautifully with different colors of Freesia. The leaves give extra volume to the bouquet. In the bouquet, the Ruscus leaf gives a playful effect.

Another green used in the bouquet is Eucalyptus Nicoli. The leaf is even narrower and a lot longer than the Ruscus leaf. With its gray-green color, the leaf stands out in a bouquet. Because of the long, narrow shape of the leaf is somewhat similar to the inflorescence of the Freesia, this makes it extra nice to combine them together.

WREATH, LARGE BOUQUET OR SINGLE VASE

A green that is incredibly popular with the Freesia is the Asparagus green. There

are an awful lot of different varieties of Asparagus available. With so many different types of greenery and a versatile flower, we can go either way. You can see that from the examples.

Asparagus Plumoses was used in the examples. This species gives a soft look to the bouquet. Be aware that there may be sharp thorns on the greenery.

CLASSIC BOUQUET

If you want to go for a classic look, the combination of the Freesia and Aralia is a must! The foliage has been popular for an incredibly long time and is widely used as the size of the bouquet. So too in our example. The dark green color of the Aralia leaf and the white color of the Freesia gives a classic look.
