The cheerful colors and fresh look makes the Gerbera a great flower for April. Whether an arrangement calls for soft pastel colors or bright colors, the Gerbera can deliver.
Our Arranger Tanja van Bijlevelt(@naturallymade) got to work again this month. With Easter coming up, she made several beautiful arrangements. For a fun effect, she chose several different types of Gerbera. Get inspired and go to work yourself!
Easter means eggs. As Easter approaches, we have different types and sizes of Easter eggs in our assortment. With the eggs Tanja easily and quickly gives an Easter atmosphere to the arrangement or bouquet. By placing the eggs loose in the arrangement, they are also easy to remove. So you can also enjoy the arrangement or bouquet after Easter.
Do you have enough space? Then make a beautiful large bouquet with the special Gerberas.
Tanja combined the cheerful flower with Chico, for example. The tropical leaf, with its dark color, makes the Gerbera's cheerful colors stand out even more.
The cheerful, curly green, which gives a playful effect along with the Gerbera's curly leaves, is called Goanna Claw. The green comes all the way from Australia.
But even in a small vase, the Gerbera steals the show. With the Sage branches and the cheerful color of the Gerbera, spring splashes out. The bright green of the Goanna Claw reminds us of happy meadows. An ideal arrangement to celebrate spring!
Because the Gerbera itself has no leaves, greenery with lots of leaves looks perfect with this flower.
Pittosporum Nigra has a light edge running around the leaf. This gives the leaf a cheerful effect. Combined with Sage branches, white Gerberas and some eggs, you are all set for Easter.
But Parvifolia also complements the Gerbera beautifully. Both greens give lots of volume.
Make your arrangement or bouquet extra special by choosing a greenery like Diplocycle. The string of green fruits are easy to apply.
Or instead choose the familiar Corylus branches. Which we also often encounter without flowers or greenery in a vase.
Whatever you do. With the Gerbera, it's a party in the vase! Get started yourself. Tanja shows how on our YouTube channel. Click here for the video.
